If I had to choose a single screenshot from each of my maps/projects these would be them.  You can click on any of the screenshots to see more from that particular map or project.

"jbrowne_Town_Square" - Call of Duty SP

You have to play the map to enjoy this one.  The crickets are chirping, gunfire of distant battles can be heard in the background, and the sound of your squad's footsteps pound on the pavement.  It's the calm before the storm so-to-speak.  If you look closely you can see a German soldier on patrol.  You know that as soon as a shot is fired all hell will break loose.  I just love the way the light falls on the soldier on the left running for cover behind some crates.

"False Hope - Day" - Dark Territory

Some people disagree with me on this being the best screenshot of the level.  There isn't any "great composition" in this screenshot, but what I like about it is the sense of power that the defenders have.  A massive catapult looms above the small town below guarding it against any attacker that enters.  You can almost see this catapult launching a fiery shot into the middle of the town, annihilating anything or anyone in its path.  I also like the line of sight you get from this screenshot.  You get a great sense of verticality with the multi-tiered levels of the town and the distant hills and mountains.

"False Hope - Night" - Dark Territory

A thick fog has rolled in and the attacking team must take control of the town sitting on the hill in the distance.  This screenshot is from the perspective of the attacking team.  I like the mood of this screenshot - dark, gloomy, and foreboding.  You never know what may be lurking in the shadows.  What's great about this map in particular is when you are approaching the town as the attacking team (much like what is pictured above) and then out of the fog comes a fiery shot from a catapult fired blindly into the sky by the defending team.  There is nothing more frightening then watching as a flaming trail emerges from the fog above and knowing full well that you have no chance to run for safety before the shot comes crashing down upon you.

Jayden's Time - A 15 Minute Cinematic

I had a blast scripting this cinematic.  It is a 15 minute cinematic using the FAKK2 engine that features Matrix-style bullet-time accompanied with rock and techno music.  This is a great moment when the protagonist (Jayden) first encounters one of the monsters that have invaded her school (busting through the door above).  It's a silly story, but very enjoyable to watch.

"The Mines" - Rathe of the Wolf

Rathe of the Wolf is a 3rd-Person Pirate Themed total conversion of FAKK2.  I was Game Designer, Level Designer, and one of the Scripters for the game.  This shot is from the mine cart level I did.  This poor Spanish soldier didn't stand a chance against Morgan Rathe's skill with a blade.  For some reason I get a kick out of this screenshot (and I'm rather fond of my little BSP table I built lol).  This is also right before the player gets on a mine cart and enjoys a thrilling ride through the mines.

"Barbados in the Moonlight" - Rathe of the Wolf

This level actually never made it into the game.  I decided to scrap it due to time constraints and instead focused my attention on getting "The Mines" level to a polished state.  I became somewhat attached to this map, which made it hard for me to stop working on it.  But it's never a good thing to get married to your work.  You can almost picture some Spanish soldiers patrolling the dirt streets on the town as you sneak your way past them.

"The Water Plant" - FAKK2 map

This was an interesting assignment - each level designer in my class was given the same level design document and it was our goal to create a map based on it, but "make it cool".  What was great about this assignment was seeing how everyone incorporated their own vision from the same level design document.  Although each map had the same layout, each one had very different architecture.  This screenshot shows the loading dock for the factory that the player infiltrates.

The Enchanted Forest - SGDK

This is from my 2D Side Scrolling Action Adventure.  This screenshot just brings back memories of my first game that I did.  It was a three-month project that was done by an artist and myself.  This screenshot shows William using his trusted bow against some low-level enemies.
